My very good friend and former bandmate, Josh Hight has just released his new album safe.plain under his IRONS moniker. The record features collaborations with Ryan Rapsys & Ryan Weinstein (Euphone) and Mark Hardy - and is really a truly great album. Opening track "still.water" is breathtaking - the album as a whole actually is just gorgeous - in its best moments strands of Low, Slowdive, The Velvet Underground, and Jeff Buckley weave into one of the best records I've heard this year. Oh and the best part is that he's offering his new record for free on bandcamp... you can download it right now for free here!

Flairs: Trucker Delight iPhone App

It looks like the buzz around Flairs' Trucker's Delight video keeps going strong, with the release of this new Iphone app based on it...minus the sexual content.

WIRED MAGAZINE is even arguing that this could be a first. Flairs making videogame history ? Pretty rad!

Wilson and Clowes.

There's an awesome interview with one of my favorite comic artists, Daniel Clowes, at Mother Jones right now. I picked up his latest book Wilson as soon as it dropped. So far its up there to me as one of his best. Clowes is really great at balancing the snark with emotional weight that doesn't feel forced. Its funny and sad and terrific. Read the interview here.
